Doctor Miles Yarbrough returned to his hometown of Savannah, GA in 2017 after completing a surgical based dental residency at The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University.
"I was fortunate enough to gain extensive training in many aspects of dentistry but focused in dental implants, oral surgery and IV sedation. I understand that coming to the dental office is not a fan favorite among most people, so my goal is to always try and make everyone's experience as comfortable as possible. I believe that building trust and confidence with my patients is how a long-lasting relationship is developed."
Dr. Yarbrough was born and raised in Savannah, and he is a proud graduate of Benedictine Military School and the University of Georgia. He graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina's College of Dental Medicine in 2016 and finished his AEGD residency in 2017. While in residency he completed and assisted in teaching the AAID Maxicourse which is a comprehensive training program in implant dentistry.
"Dentistry is not just a career but a passion for me. I love continuing to learn new skillsets, techniques, and the latest technology so I'm able to provide the best results for my patients."
He continues his journey of education to this day with focuses in implant dentistry, cosmetics, endodontics, and orthodontics. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Georgia Dental Association. When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Yarbrough enjoys spending time with his wife and two little girls, being on the water, going to the beach, playing golf, soccer and rooting for the Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves.
